2025 MWC World Walleye Championship

Pre-Fishing Begins ….2025 MWC World Walleye Championship

We just wrapped up our first day of pre-fishing for the MWC World Walleye Championship, and it feels good to be back on the water chasing big bites at the highest level.

This morning kicked off with cold tempsa real reminder that fall fishing demands grit, focus, and the right gear. Thankfully, we were layered up in our Cold Snap Outdoors CS-ONE suits, which are built for exactly these kinds of conditions. That system has been a game-changer for staying warm, dry, and mobile while still being able to fish hard all day.

Despite the chill, we were able to locate a few pockets of very active fish, boating multiple unders and overs throughout the day. We leaned heavily on out ( JT Outdoor product) rods, especially the Panhandler and Mag Medium Light models—both gave us the sensitivity and control we needed to feel light bites and fight those fish with confidence.

We’ve got two more days of pre-fishing ahead, and we’re going to use every minute of it to learn as much as we can. Whether it’s dialing in structure, current, baitfish activity, or how the fish are reacting to different presentations…it’s all about putting together a game plan that holds up under tournament pressure.

Looking forward to seeing what else we can unlock. Championship week is here, and we’re fired up.
